Breast augmentation is officially the #1 cosmetic procedure in the United States.  In 2009, over 310,000 women got breast implants!  311,957 to be exact (according to the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, ASAPS).Baywatch might be old news, but silicone is coming on strong!  More women than ever before are going under the knife to enhance their busts (“bubbies” if you’re a Jersey housewife).  Women of all ages and sizes are choosing implants over kleenex.  Almost 3,000 women under 18, 160,000 women aged 19-34, and over 150,000 women aged 35-50 got implants last year, and there’s no sign that this trend is going to slow down any time soon.  Even grandma got her groove on in 2009… over 2400 women over 65 got breast implants last year!
